Hey ya'll, I'm back

Well, here it is a month later and I am still in Ukraine. I have had my ups and downs, because I am so spoiled!! Yes, I said it, I am spoiled!! OMG we take sooo much for granted. I have had to learn to persevere through the hard times, and they are getting less and less. Everyone should go out of the country and experience real Faith.
Christina is coming back from camp today!! I can hardly wait to hug her, she fits so comfortably in my arms. Please pray for her, she is afraid of leaving everything that she has ever known. I have already embarrassed her by talking about her to everyone I meet. She hides behind me, and says momma. Now, she is going to have to get over that.
As you know, we have court on Friday and I get to see Ronny on Thursday. I can hardly wait to fall into his arms. Please pray about court going smoothly and around 12:00 p.m. Christina Lynn Gully being made a part of our family. Nina seems to be a little worried about our paperwork. Please pray for favor from the judge on our case. I met the little man and we got along well. I kissed him and hugged him when he gave us a date on Friday. He asked if I was superstitious of Friday the 13th. I told him no, I believe in prayer!! We exhanged pictures of our children and his grandchildren.
The Kniphers are here and we are so happy to have other americans to talk to. Now Anna has learned alot of Russian and is my translator most of the time. I'm still trying to find a gym with a treaddmill, not high on Ukrainians list. They walk everywhere and so have we.
Please pray about the 10 days being waived, Nina is going to talk to a lawyer about it.
I love everyone and miss you all, I can't wait to see my dog, drive my car, and eat Mexican food. HAHA
Thanks for all your help, support, and prayer and keep the comments coming. I won't name any names but okay friends, I need to hear from you.

Love you all,
Lynn

You crack me up Lynn! You are right about every person in America needing to leave the country. We are praying with you and sending our blessings. Give Anna hugs from us. Your journey has been amazing for us to read. Thank you for sharing. Prayers always. Is there an update on Masha?

Hey Lynn,

I could just hear your sweet voice as I read you comments. You girls hang in there. We are praying for the day we can greet you at the airport. That is if we are not in Ecuador. We leave Thursday along with 70+ families from our small group. God is doing amazing work among the nations. We are blessed to be a part of it. Katelyn and I have been following your journey daily. It has been a blessing to see God work through your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Much love from the Brocks!!

You crack me up too!!!
I can just see you 2 southern gals in Ukraine for a month!!! I know that you miss being home, but just a little longer and you'll get your wish. Just remember that just over a month ago, you were saying, "I just can't wait to get on the plane and see Christina." Thanks for being first!!! I don't know if I could have lasted. Maybe now the rest of us will have smooth sailing. I can't wait to have Mexican with you when you get home. You are in my prayers daily.
Love you lots!!!

Hang in there Lynn - you'll have quite a story when it's all said and done. It’s a parent’s lot in life to go through trials for the sake of our children but I don’t think it is a calling any of us would walk away from – though as Laura says it sure seems like there are plenty of shallow people in the world who could use the character building more than us! You are right about everyone getting out of the country. A month in Zaporizhzhya will drive home to anyone how spoiled we are all - by clean air if nothing else...

It’s been quite a ride for you all and I can't even imagine waves of emotions Krystyna must be experiencing at this point. Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

God bless…

Hey Lynn,
I log on to your blog everyday just to feel like we're connected to this journey with you. It's great to read your last post. I know that is difficult for Christina to imagine leaving her life in Ukraine, even though she wants so much to be in your family. I know that God will be with you all as you leave Ukraine and head home for a new journey together. And we will all be here to give you tons of love and support. Continue to hang in there. You and Anna are such troopers! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Lots of love,
The Underwoods
